About The Foley Foundation Change A Life

The Foley Foundation Change A Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to removing barriers to employment and helping motivated individuals secure meaningful work.

We believe that people don’t need handouts they need access, preparation, and opportunity. Our programs focus on equipping individuals with the tools, resources, and confidence necessary to compete in today’s workforce.

Our Commitment to Impact

We are committed to transparency, accountability, and measurable results. Every donation supports programs that directly prepare individuals for employment and long-term independence.

Why Employment Matters

Employment is more than a paycheck it’s stability, dignity, and independence.
Too many capable individuals are held back by obstacles like lack of transportation, proper attire, mentorship, or emergency support. We exist to remove those barriers so effort and potential not circumstance determine success.

Founder/CEO

Kieron E Foley, MBA

Kieron Foley is a retired Beverly Hills Police Department professional whose assignments included uniformed patrol, motors, detectives, and serving as a police academy instructor. Throughout his career, Kieron learned the value of showing up for people in moments of need often when guidance and support can change the course of a life. After retiring from the police department, Kieron founded and served as President/CEO of a private security company, which he owned and operated for 23 years before successfully selling it in January 2025. Kieron’s mentorship journey began long before the Foundation. Along with six high school classmates, he helped create the Class of ’74 Scholarship Fund, working in partnership with Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks, CA) to provide financial assistance and mentorship to students who otherwise could not afford admission. Fund board members interviewed candidates, selected one student at a time, and supported that student throughout all four years ensuring tuition was covered and mentorship was consistent. Kieron frequently served as lead mentor, providing guidance not only to the student, but to the family as well. In one case, Kieron mentored a young woman from age 14 through high school and college where she was accepted to USC and she is now a working Physician Assistant at UCLA. That life changing experience became the catalyst for The Foley Foundation Change A Life, built on the belief that mentoring isn’t a one-time meeting, but an ongoing relationship based on accountability, “teachable moments,” and personal excellence. Kieron continues to mentor individuals one-on-one today, including a current mentee a 25 year old bartender working toward becoming a personal/executive assistant to a prominent family. Drawing from decades of private sector leadership, Kieron provides practical real-world guidance on professionalism, communication, confidence, and career readiness. Kieron’s goal is to expand the Foundation by adding additional volunteer mentors so more lives can be changed through consistent support and and change their life both in work and character.
